Over the last few weeks we have had quite a few volunteers working on our new sensory garden.

We have had Prince’s Trust North of England here at our Centre. We would like to say how grateful we are for all the hard work that they have put in, and we are incredibly pleased with how beautiful our sensory garden is looking!

It has been a pleasure having them here, and we look forward to seeing one of the young gentlemen at our voluntary outdoor club, which will be coming very soon! Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for more details. There will also be lots of pictures of our service users enjoying the new outdoor area in the coming weeks.

Burnley FC in the Community‘s ‘Moor for your Future’ participants have also been volunteering making our garden look beautiful! Are you a local business? Do you know one who may be able to provide more opportunities for them?

We’ve had some beautiful sensory plants and flowers donated by Holden Clough Nurseries to Prince’s Trust, for our Centre! They are absolutely gorgeous! Not only are they great for our service users, but they are great for wildlife too!

It is fantastic to see our service users being able to enjoy our outdoor space. These are the people who really benefit from the hard work of all our volunteers.
