Adult Support Worker
£10.00 – £12.30 an hour – Part-time
The successful candidate will be working directly with vulnerable people throughout the community.
Main duties include: Supporting vulnerable people in their own homes, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and light domestic duties. The ideal person will be motivated with good people skills, the ability to work alone, or as part of a team, and be caring and compassionate with a willingness to learn.
NVQ level 2 in health and social care is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided in all aspects of the role. Charter House will support and encourage employees to further their personal development. *Driving licence and use of own car is essential.
Additional duties may include: Working with the elderly, those with dementia, and adults with disabilities in our Day Care Centre, assisting with setting up the activity room, assisting in lifelong learning and activities, mealtime, and personal care assistance.
You may also be required to pick up and drop off service users from the centre in our minibus.
